Which windows can be tinted – and how dark?
The rear window and rear side windows can be tinted freely. The windscreen and front side windows are subject to legal requirements – we only use approved films and will advise you on this.
Does window tinting need to be registered?
Approved films with a German type approval (ABG) don't need to be registered individually – you simply carry the approval certificate with you. We'll provide all the paperwork.
Does tinting really reduce heat?
Yes. High-quality films reflect most of the infrared heat and block up to 99 % of UV – the interior stays noticeably cooler.
Can I still see well enough at night?
With the approved tint levels, visibility remains good. Very dark levels (limo) only make sense for the rear windows.
How long does window tinting last?
High-quality tint films last for many years without bubbling or discolouring.
How much does window tinting cost?
It depends on the vehicle and on how many windows are to be tinted. You'll receive a free, transparent assessment with a fixed price.
Can the tint be removed again?
Yes, the film can be removed without residue and without damaging the glass.
