The protection and security of personal data is a high priority for us. We therefore strictly comply with the rules of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG). Below you will find information on what kind of data is collected and for what purpose:

1. Data transmission / data logging

When you visit this site, the web server automatically records log files that cannot be attributed to any specific person. This data includes, for example, the browser type and version, the operating system used, the referrer URL (the previously visited page), the IP address of the requesting computer, the date and time of the server request and the client's file request (file name and URL). This data is collected solely for the purpose of statistical analysis. It is not passed on to third parties, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

2. Use of personal data

Personal data is only collected or processed if you provide it voluntarily, e.g. as part of an enquiry. Unless there are necessary reasons in connection with a business transaction, you may revoke the consent you previously gave to the storage of your personal data at any time, with immediate effect, in writing (e.g. by email or fax). Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is required by law.

3. Information about, correction and deletion of your data

In accordance with applicable law, you may ask us in writing at any time whether and which personal data about you we have stored. You will receive a corresponding response without delay.

4. Security of your data

The personal data you provide to us is secured by all technical and organisational security measures so that it is inaccessible to unauthorised third parties. When sending very sensitive data or information, we recommend using the postal service, as complete data security cannot be guaranteed by email.

5. Note on Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide further services related to website and internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required by law or where third parties process this data on Google's behalf. Google will under no circumstances associate your IP address with other Google data. You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data collected about you by Google in the manner and for the purpose described above.

6. Cookies

On some of our pages we use so-called "session cookies" to make it easier for you to use our website. These are small text files that are stored on your hard drive only for the duration of your visit to our website and, depending on your browser settings, are deleted when you close the browser. These cookies do not retrieve any information about you stored on your hard drive and do not affect your PC or your files. Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you when cookies are sent.

7. Location map (OpenStreetMap) and consent

In the contact section you can display a map from OpenStreetMap. The provider is the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. The map is only loaded once you expressly agree – via “Load map” or under “Functional” in the cookie settings. When it loads, your IP address is transmitted to the OpenStreetMap servers. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). An adequacy decision of the European Commission exists for the United Kingdom. More information: OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.

We store your choice only in your browser (local storage) for no longer than six months. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future:

8. Changes to this privacy policy

We will update these guidelines for the protection of your personal data from time to time. You should review them occasionally to stay informed about how we protect your data and continually improve the content of our website. Should we make material changes to the collection, use and/or disclosure of the personal data you have provided to us, we will draw your attention to this by means of a clear and clearly visible notice on the website. By using the website, you agree to the terms of these guidelines for the protection of personal data. If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please contact us via our contact page.

Privacy settings

We use cookies and similar technologies. Necessary ones are required to run the website. We only use others with your consent — in that case data is transferred to the respective providers. You can change your choice at any time.
